Many times as mommas we have this perception that everything has to be perfect, in order and done a certain way. I felt that for many years, I wanted my home to this picture perfect image as it in the magazine. Although I learned quickly that in order for my house to stay spic and span I had to clean up constantly. I learn this after baby no. 2 and with no. 3 I learned that it so important to have my own momma time. Honestly, I did not give my children a bedtime on the Fridays and Saturday when they did not have school. I know that is so terrible but if I recall when I was over the age of 7 my mother allowed us to do the same because usually my brother and I went to bed on our own and so does my children. But I had to get back into little routine having a new baby. Jesiah has been sleeping through the night for a while now so I did not have to keep him up late in order for me to get a decent nights rest. Now that he sleeps through the night I can put him to bed and have mommy time. My mommy time consist of taking a nice long hot shower, retreating to my bedroom and surfing the internet and watching my favorite TV shows. When I first had my Jesiah I felt guilty.......WHY!?!? I need to regenerate and recoup from a long day of being Super Mom. So whatever your mommy time may be drinking a glass of wine, taking a hot bubble bath, playing Candy Crush or maybe evening cleaning just Take Time Out For You!! HEY WE DESERVE IT!!
