Jesiah's Baby Shower Decor
We had our shower in June, two weeks before I was schedule to have him. I had his shower at Golden Corral to cut the cost of expenses and it was easy cleanup for me due to the fact I was in my 3rd trimester, and it was an excuse to eat out. I didn't want to go with traditional blue but I really like the animal print theme from Party City. The plates, napkins, tablecloth, confetti and balloons were all from Party City. Some how I forgot to take a picture of the balloons, they were really nice bouquet at each end of the table. And take a picture of the gifts I had for the games as well. | I got the idea of the candy jars from At Home with Nikki on Youtube. They are really easy to make and every season I change the outside décor to match or whatever event. I filled them with silver mints from Dollar tree, Hershey candy bars (highlighted the letters HE in blue on the bars) and, blue lollipops from Party City. I also made flower pens as favors and for guest to use for the games. Attached to the pens were Bible scriptures that relate to rising children in positive up bringing. I got the ideas as well for YouTube channeler: 11mjsmommy. I really had fun making them! | Jesiah's shower cake was from Wal-Mart, I thought it was really pretty and came out great. For the games we played the baby animal game, baby scramble words and name that song (had baby in the lyrics). I really enjoyed preparing for the shower, but I should have planned on my layout more in advance. I had more expectations of what I thought it would look like in my head. Although it still came out great! |
